Archaeology in Queensland

Associate Professor Jon Prangnell will look more closely into Archaeology in Queensland, exploring an overview of Queensland’s archaeological sites, some of the different finds from around the State and some of the richest locations. The lecture will then progress into the innovations made to archaeology in Queensland before finishing on the importance of historical archaeology.

About the speaker: Associate Professor Jonathan Prangnell is an expert in the fields of archaeology, historical archaeology, cultural heritage, and Australian archaeology. Professor Prangnell holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from The University of Queensland and a Doctor of Philosophy from The University of Queensland.
