Are you interested in Historical Archaeology? Have you thought about joining ASHA? The Australasian Society for Historical Archaeology brings together people from around Australia and New Zealand to share news and expertise about historical archaeology. With an annual conference, a journal, a member’s forum and other activities it is a great way to learn about the field and develop your professional networks.
ASHA is hosting a social evening for Victorian members in support of National Archaeology Week and a limited quantity of free guest tickets has been made available for students.
ASHA is supplying a range of grazing plates which include hot finger food, pizza and antipasto platters (gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options can be easily organised, just notify vic@asha.org.au).
You will be pleased to note that Happy Hour is from 4pm-7pm, and outside of these times, the drink prices are reasonable.
Contact vic@asha.org.au to secure a ticket.
We have a large range of ASHA publications in stock here in Melbourne and they can be purchased via https://asha.org.au/shop/. We will close online book sales on the 15th of May so we can process orders to bring them on the evening for collection. A small selection of titles will be available for sale on the evening (cash only).
