Explore Archaeology at Flinders

  • Flinders University Sturt Road Bedford Park SA 5042 Australia (map)

Come and learn all about archaeology at the Flinders University Archaeology Day, where you can hear from our staff and current students (who work all over the world!) about some of the exciting research we are doing. You will discover how to become a professional archaeologist and the careers this degree can lead to, and even get your hands dirty with some practical activities. Dig for artefacts, meet some skeletons, hear about ancient temples and historic shipwrecks, and visit our labs. This event is part of National Archaeology Week, and we welcome high school students and interested people of all abilities, ages 15+.
