Presented by the Department of Planning and Environment as part of the Australian Heritage Festival.
Acknowledging our past, present and future, Parramatta North Heritage Day returns to the precinct on Sunday 29 May as part of the Australian Heritage Festival.
In collaboration with our community partners we are opening the precinct to the public from 10am to 4pm, giving everyone the opportunity to experience this unique place. This free family day will be a great opportunity to discover this amazing precinct that weaves together the stories of Aboriginal Australia, colonial heritage, institutionalisation and our culturally diverse communities.
There will be great food, music, children’s activities, inspiring talks, demonstrations and walking tours that delve into Parramatta’s incredible history. Free guided tours will be conducted of the Parramatta Female Factory Precinct throughout the day. As numbers will be limited for each tour, registration will be required. Register for your ticket(s) here.
