‘Two Ways to See’: A Rock Art Research Journey

The 44th annual International Symposium of Archaeometry, in collaboration with Rock Art Australia, is offering free tickets for members of the public to the conference keynote presentation featuring Rock Art Australia's Science Advisory Council Chair, Professor Andy Gleadow and Traditional Owner, Mr. Ian Waina.

Ian and Andy will share how traditional owners and scientists have worked together over the last decade to determine the age of rock art sites on Kwini and Balanggarra Country in the East Kimberley.

Presented by the Australasian Research Cluster for Archaeological Science and Rock Art Australia. Rock Art Australia is a not-for-profit organisation committed to researching, preserving, and promoting Australia’s rock art by bringing together Aboriginal traditional knowledge and western science.
