Take a step back in time at a FREE family-friendly day out at Mayes Cottage House Museum.
Join in with old fashioned children's games. Book into a hands-on junior archaeologist activity, for ages 5 to 10 years. Bookings required for Junior archaeology events only.

There will be displays and talks on archaeology and artefacts unearthed at Mayes Cottage. Talks include:

• 12.30pm Dr Kevin Rains ‘Sugaropolis: the historical archaeology of the early sugar industry south of the Logan’

• 1.15pm Anne Collins 'Fragments of family life at Mayes Cottage'

• 1.30pm 'Gold mining in Logan City'

Bring a picnic and enjoy the tranquil surrounds of Mayes Cottage.
