How did you become interested in archaeology?

I've always been fascinated by history and an archaeologist role presented me with the opportunity to pursue my fascination as a career.

What archaeological projects are you working on at the moment?

Research surrounding civil aviation heritage in Australia's Northern Territory.

Documentary works on a World War Two site in the Northern Territory of Australia.

Tell us about one of your most interesting archaeological discoveries.

Whilst hiking up a cliff ridge I discovered a marker made by those who'd been stationed at the site during World War Two. It had their names and service numbers engraved into it.

What’s your favourite part of being an archaeologist?

Being able to talk with people about their experiences and memories, especially when you are located at the site of these experiences and memories.
