Where did you study?
How did you become interested in archaeology?
Being an Indiana Jones obsessed child led me to pick up my first book on archaeology. From there, I was hooked.
What archaeological projects are you working on at the moment?
I'm currently working on consulting projects across the renewable, transport and infrastructure sectors.
Tell us about one of your most interesting archaeological discoveries
Recording an archaeological site is always an incredible experience and opportunity to connect with the Traditional Custodians and learn about Country. Some of the most interesting sites I have recorded include contact sites, shell middens, quarries and sugar bag scars.
Tell us about a funny / disastrous / amazing experience that you have had while doing archaeology
There are amazing experiences every day while doing archaeology but I particularly appreciate the incredible landscapes and places on Country and feel humbled to be able to access these places.
What’s your favourite part of being an archaeologist?
The best part of any archaeological work with meeting and working with First Nations People. Connecting people with their history is what makes archaeology special.
